Celebrating 10 years of Predicts, OMD UAE’s flagship industry-leading event, 2019’s theme focused on the theme of acceleration through collaboration. MMP World Wide, proud to partner with Predicts once again this year, supported the event which saw over 350 delegates from across brands, press outlets and media owners come together at Zabeel House Al Seef Hotel to discuss emerging trends and how best to future-proof businesses in this disruptive climate. 

The evening kicked off with a cocktail reception and networking, before the event got underway looking back at the most memorable moments of the past 10 years since the event’s inception. 

OMD EMEA CEO, Guy Marks then took to the stage to share his thoughts on why building more human interaction, understanding and empathy both in the workplace, and across all our relationships could go a long way in rebuilding trust within the ecosystem – a view echoed by our CEO, Ayman Haydar, and Deputy GM, Nader Bitar, in their recent digital essays, discussing how humanity is the missing link in shaping digital tech’s future success.  

Guy was succeeded to the stage by Amazon’s John Rossman, who discussed the importance of building a culture of innovation, followed by Snap’s Jacob Andreou who spoke about deploying empathy across social in his keynote address.

Finally, and a true highlight of the evening, saw actress, writer and director, Nadine Labaki in conversation with Caroline Seif discussing the effects of social impact on storytelling.
